Providing Educational substance abuse prevention training

Diana Wilson has traveled the world for over fifteen years as a Drug and Alcohol Education Specialist. She worked with kids, their parents and faculty, providing a unique forum for discussing personal, social, and cultural issues that relate to the choices teens make. Based on her experience with todays youth, she wanted to create a program that took Drug and Alcohol Education to the next level. With the advent of social media- addiction issues have become more complex. In addition, new ways to address and reach out to youth and young adults- were badly needed.

Therefore, she recently joined forces with Gary Stromberg, acclaimed author, recovery advocate and mentor, with over 34 years in recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. He has Authored 3 books on addiction and recovery, available on Amazon- including: "Second Chances", "The Harder They Fall" and "Feeding the Fame"-Celebrities Tell Their Real Life Stories of Eating Disorders and Recovery". Gary can infuse real life stories and bring a third dimension to the educational programs by providing examples how others have struggled and how they turned their life into a success. Also Diana provides examples of real life "Mentors"- Famous people, pro surfers, pro skaters who found success never using drugs or alcohol. Finding natural ways to get "Natural Highs."
Diana and Gary have created an new educational program, GLOBAL YOUTH PREVENTION (GYP), that combines a variety educational formats and learning activities that help develop communication skills to help resolve young people’s conflicts, especially as they relate to drugs and alcohol.  They offer tools to help deal with stress as well as skills on how to identify and confront specific problems.

Finally, their program is not a "fear based" program- but a organic approach to learning and behavior change, that is designed to include and empower the youth, their families, and the whole community. The entire program is designed to provide the first step of an ongoing educational process- that can be continued as each participant so chooses that is involved in the program.

Flexibility, Passion, Personal, All year round support and resource to the entire school community.
Our  Program is for elementary, middle, and high school students are richly interactive curricula that combine up-to-date information with real-life experiences. Teaching methods include discussion based, videos, games and experiential exercises. The courses are flexibly structured so that student questions and concerns are answered. The  program gives teenagers the opportunity to discover and redesign the limiting beliefs (The Stories) they have about

themselves and others. It’s these self-imposed limitations that could keep them from fully achieving their maximum capabilities. This redesign allows them to pursue their dreams and goals with new freedom and passion.  In the GYP Training the participants also begin to create a solid foundation of powerful tools that they will be able to take with them and use for the rest of their lives. The Program is based on science, the latest research and trends. Kids can't argue or defend with science.
